BBC Music Introducing 2019

I've just returned from BBC Music Introducing 2019 in London, where I was one of 50 artists from across the UK to be invited to perform. I was also on the simulcast from the event at Tobacco Dock which went out across all 39 BBC local radio stations and BBC Radio 6 Music.

Bradford's City of Culture bid

In September I featured several times in the promotion video for Bradford's bid to become UK City of Culture 2025. It was such an honour to be representing my home city of Bradford.

BBC Music Day

I was massively honoured to be chosen to represent West Yorkshire on BBC Music Day in August. I wrote a spoken word/slow rap piece entitled 'Y.O.U.T.H.' and performed it with The Bradford Youth Orchestra playing Elgar's 'Nimrod' at The Broadway shopping centre in Bradford.

My first visit to a recording studio was in January 2019 when I recorded my début single 'Pourquoi' and follow-up 'Different Wave' at RubixCube Music Labs in Bradford. Recently I have been working with Ben Matravers in Leeds, writing and recording two new tracks for release early next year.

Some interviews with me that have been recorded.
